How am I different?

Over the years, families have called on me during some of life’s most delicate moments — downsizing, sudden health events, and urgent, life-changing transitions. I am deeply honored by that trust. When emotions are high and decisions feel heavy, families deserve more. They deserve advocacy, steady guidance, and real support. At my core, I believe this work is about people, not property. It’s about relationships, not transactions. That’s what I mean when I say, “the last thing we worry about is the house.”

Human First. House Last.

  • "We wanted to share our great recent experience in selling the home of a family friend who unfortunately had passed with cancer. The house involved a probate filing, and Lisa's experience in this area was very helpful. Lisa always made herself available for questions, and assisted us with contacting several local auction businesses to assist us with the best direction to go with the sale of furniture etc. She kept in close contact through the whole process, including times when we were out-of-state and wi-fi and phone services were lacking. Lisa helped us turn what we expected to be a difficult process into a much less stressful sale. This included several detours/roadblocks that came up as the negotiations progressed, and her ability to work with other realtors was very important and helpful. I would highly recommend Lisa if you are considering the sale of your house and especially if probate/inheritance issues are part of the scenario."

  • "I have dealt with many dozens of Real Estate folks in many states in my over 50 years as a home owner in our many moves with a large corp. She is the best as measured by any metric. Empathetic, kind. She actually tries to live up to what she believes."

    - Earl B.

  • "We were so happy with Lisa. She was sensitive to what we were going through and professional. I felt like she definitely looked out for our best interest. We had to deal with the death of my mom with a reverse mortgage and she helped us through it all."

  • Families often work with professionals who specialize in senior transitions, such as a Senior Home Coach™, Senior Move Manager®, financial planners, and estate and elder law attorneys. A coordinated approach helps families make informed decisions with less stress.

  • This depends on the family’s goals, financial considerations, and timing. Some families sell the home, others rent it, and some hold it for future decisions. Understanding the full picture before making a decision is key.

  • These conversations can feel uncomfortable. The key is approaching them with curiosity and respect rather than pressure. Starting with questions about future goals, safety, and lifestyle often opens the door to productive discussion. For conversation starters, check out my podcast topics.
